How to get White Hair

Hello, my lovelies. I've just been posting a bunch of updates for videos I've posted on my youtube but haven't really posted up on here. This video explains how I bleach & tone my hair to get it white, the products that I use, and how I care for my hair. It's 4AM & I'm Wide Awake...

...waiting for my thoughts to fade.

No, but seriously. It's around four in the morning and I have no idea why I'm still awake. I should be sleeping by now but instead I'm up on my computer. Well, that's probably the reason why I'm awake. I don't have anything else to do. I should be bored to the point where I shut off my computer and go to sleep. Strangely, though, I just can't quite do that yet.

I dyed my hair pink today. Well, technically earlier this morning, since it was practically right after midnight. I'll post some pictures of it soon. From how it looked when I washed it out, I like how the color came out.

My circle lenses came in today. Or technically, it was yesterday. I'll make another blog post about them. (: They're absolutely wonderful. I love them so much and I can't wait to order more from the website. I'm not sure what color I would want to choose; like I'm still not sure if I want to get the same color in a different style or go for a completely different color and style combination. I'll just take a look around and see if there's anything that catches my eye. (:

I'm going to make a new youtube account soon. I'm currently in the middle of deciding on a name. I have a couple of different possibilities that I'm considering right now but I'm going to keep them mostly to myself because I don't want my final decision to be influenced by people over the internet that I don't know too well, since I personally believe that out of everyone in the world, I am the one that knows and understands myself the best. But once I make a new youtube account then I can start up my storenvy and sell lovely craft items. (: Life is just full of so many possibilities and opportunities right now and I'm so excited for them all.

Sketch Dump 10/11

I was in a drawing mood today. Well, except for the first one. I drew that earlier this week. I think I'll do sketch dumps every few days or so and see if I'm improving at all or if I'm finding myself drawing the same thing over and over. This will be a new sort of personal journey towards improving myself! Would you care to join me on my journey?

Outfit of the Day?

I've always adored the idea of daily outfit videos and I enjoy watching them on youtube. However, I feel like the sheer amount of videos would be overwhelming, especially since I make other sorts of videos (for the record, I have never made an "outfit of the day" video). So I was thinking of starting them up on this blog, since I just recently made a cute little navigation bar off to the left side of my blog. My "daily outfit" posts will, of course, go under my "fashion" tab. I just feel like I don't post a lot on this blog. I mean, the most I've posted was over the summer when I had my 50 photographs flickr project. I think making daily outfit blog posts would be entertaining and while I may not remember the approximate cost of whatever I'm wearing, I will most likely remember where I got it from. Unless I'm wearing something that I've had for a really long time. In that case, I probably won't remember where it was from. But I would need someone to help me, since I don't have a tripod and I'm really bad at taking images of myself for full body shots. And makeshift tripods are no help at all. Because I can't rest my camera on its side. Anyway, I don't have class until 3:00 today since my stagecraft class is split in half this week & next so I'll be attending this lesson on Tuesday next week. Ooh, I have time to paint & draw today. I might post some of my artwork soon. (:

I've been sort of dead on here...

I apologize so much to my followers (even though there aren't many - I love you all) for my lack of posting recently. College work and adjusting to living away from home and goodness! It's barely been a month since I've been here. It feels like it's been so much longer!
Anyway, I just wanted to talk a little bit about scarves. A few of you might know that I plan to open up a storevny store very soon. I'd really like to start selling really cool scarves & stuff on it. So dear followers, please tell me what you think of that idea? c:

I'm really happy with how this came out so far. I found the acoustic version while browsing through posts on tumblr, and his explanation was in the description. I thought it was so beautiful, and couldn't believe that I didn't realize the deeper meaning behind this song despite listening to the entire album dozens and dozens of times on repeat. There is so much more that I want to do with this piece, the main thing is color it. Unfortunately, I'm so scared that I'm going to mess it up beyond recovery, since I don't have any photoshop programs on my computer. Well, I also need to ink it. That's going to take a lot of time. Probably more time than actually drawing it. The thing with ink is I have to be really careful to control the flow of it as best I can. Otherwise I'll get ink blots over the entire thing.

I HAVE A TABLE!!!!

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I would keep you guys informed about the Artist Alley table for the SacAnime Winter 2013 convention. The good news is.... I was able to reserve a table in time! (: I will be there with my friend Hailey and we will sell artwork and I also plan to sell t-shirts too! (: You can check out my deviantart and possibly add me to your watch list? I plan on uploading my drawings once I download GIMP to make it all nice and colorful! (:

SacAnime Summer 2012

Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a FANTASTIC Labor Day weekend! I know I had a super amazing one! (: I went to SacAnime on Saturday with my two friends Hailey and Patrick. When we got there, there was hardly any parking so we were parked right in front of the plant waste dumpster where they drop all the dead tree limbs off at and stuff. I didn't really "cosplay", but I made my hair and makeup sort of "Visual Kei". Again, the quotations are used loosely so please don't judge me seriously on my hair and makeup. I didn't have exact "references" so I tried to mimic the basic style of it. Here's a picture of how I looked that day, taken in the car on the way to the convention. Because that's how I always take pictures. :D

Except for the last picture where I spotted a Pyramid Head cosplayer and desperately wanted to take a picture with him because I absolutely love Pyramid Head. I am a crazy Silent Hill fangirl.

Anyway so we spent most of our time at the artist alley and hanging out with another friend Sarah whom we met up with when we practically first got to the convention.We didn't really do much at this convention; we just met a lot of people and talked and made new friends and it was all happy and rainbows and unicorns and aaaahhhhhhh! Amazing! We also went around the vendor room, but, like all vendor rooms, it was super crowded & I only bought a couple things from there. I didn't take pictures of what I purchased.... sorry!

Okay well, thank you guys so much for reading this and if you plan on heading out to SacAnime in January I will hopefully have an art table with my friend Hailey!! So if you see us feel free to stop by and say hello! I will definitely post an update here on whether or not we get the art table since the last few times we've tried to, they were sold out and we felt like crying. So hopefully that doesn't happen but if it does we are still going to be there! It would just be more difficult to find us if you wanted to meet us. But hopefully we get it. Finally finishing off my 50 days project! (: This is me with my student ID (covering up my number so you creepers out there can't creep on me). I was so frustrated getting it because I lost the one that I got at orientation, so I had to pay $30 to replace it. Turns out it's an extra $10 to retake the picture, which I found that out AFTER I got it. ):
Anyway on a happier note do you see the lanyard around my neck? There was a super-nice employee at the bookstore who bought it for me because my debit card wasn't working right. So I need to fix that problem but he was sooo nice to do that for me! I was expecting him to put it on hold for me so that I could go back to my dorm room and get some cash or something (in like, all change since that's all I have). But nice people are out there. (:

I can't even begin to describe the immense amount of happiness and joy that is just circling around inside of my being. Pierce the Veil had a contest where they were giving away autographed props from their music video "King for a Day" as well as a couple of tickets for their "Collide with the Sky" concert tour. I was shopping with my mom at Wal-Mart for some last minute "I NEED THIS FOR COLLEGE" items and got this tweet. I immediately start freaking out and saying "Holy freak" in the middle of the store. At first, I think it's real. And then I wonder if some prick made a fake twitter to mess with people and I start to get a little angry, thinking "if this is fake I will track down whoever it is and stab them in the face". So I rush my mom to hurry up so I can go check it on facebook and twitter (because I'm not allowed to use the internet on my phone P: ) So when we finally get home I immediately go on twitter and I freak out once more because it is indeed TRUE! So this picture doesn't even begin to cover how much of a freak I looked like while in the midst of spazzing out. Oh, and here's a screenshot the other winner Ryan posted on my facebook page. (: I think I would have giggled more if his battery level was at 69%.

Nathan took me out on an amazing date. This is probably the last time I'll see him until he comes with me to help me move into my dorm on Saturday, so hanging out with him today meant so much to me. We went to Barnes & Noble because I wanted to buy a book, then we browsed around World Market and bought a couple of snack food items (chocolate and more chocolate). He then took me out to a local sushi bar for all-you-can-eat sushi. This is why he's so amazing. He doesn't have a lot of money and he still chooses to spend like fifty dollars for us to have an amazing day. I completely understand what it's like to feel broke almost 24/7 and for him to want to do that for me makes me feel so special, like he could choose to spend his money on himself but for him to be so selfless makes me so happy.

 My first actual broadcast that's taken mildly seriously! I joined younow.com and for the most part I was disliked immediately off of my broadcasts because people were jerks and didn't want to give me a couple of minutes. But this was my first mildly successful one where I actually had about forty-five minutes to talk to people! It was certainly a lot of fun but I don't think I could ever do one exactly like it again since when I was finished it was past three in the morning and I was sleepy so I needed to go to bed. But I will definitely try to broadcast on a regular basis. I need to adjust to my schedule once I move into college so I will definitely keep you guys up to date on that if you're interested.
